Dunkin' Donuts truck - think the driver can resist the lure of Storrow Drive?

An excellent example of how Reddit monetizes itself since the
acquisition by Conde Nast/Newhouse, given that "Reddit users are so sophisticated, they all use adblockers."
They do it by posting "discussions" like "This Dunks truck is the most Boston thing I've seen thus far," with a suitably amateurish photo.
Is there a rate card for this type of guerilla marketing?
You might be overthinking this
Or maybe I've been following the Boston subreddit for too long, but it's never struck me as a place of guerilla marketing (unless you count the time when certain reporters at certain local MSM sites tried barfing links to all their stories there), What it is is a place where mostly 20something people who just like to talk about local stuff gather, including our local icons and totems. And it's hard to get much more local than the Boston fixation on Dunkin' Donuts (and I will readily admit that had I been downtown and seen that truck, I would have photographed it and posted it here).
He might be
but that kind of buzz marketing and shilling adversing has been all over reddit for years.
Anyone who thinks Dunks
Anyone who thinks Dunks represents Boston doesn't live here.
Anyone who doesn't think Boston is oversaturated with Dunk's

And thought it was funny. The guy is a long-standing poster and it's not like a day old account submitted the pic. Relax bro.
