Grinding out a Green Line fix after derailment

The MBTA reports the Green Line should be back to normal this morning after a crew worked overnight to repair the balky switch that waylaid a trolley entering Park Street yesterday.

When are the Feds going to step in?
The FTA is conducting full investigations of the safety and security of the DC metro which is a well oiled machine compared to the MBTA.
The MBTA doesn't have a track
The MBTA doesn't have a track record of fatalities.
Also, unlike WMATA, the MBTA hasn't blatantly
disregarded or ignored past NTSB recommendations that might have prevented some of the more recent problems and fatalities.
