it maple-flavored, though I know enough to pour Grade B syrup (now known as dark / robust) on my jonnycakes.

Am glad I don't have to drive to VT to find out whether this works for me.

If it's the real deal. Big if.

For what it's worth, there are farmstands and sugarhouses in western MA that have maple creemee. You don't have to go to Quechee for it.

To anyone who heads there soon, could you please report back if they have maple sprinkles (aka tiny bits of crunched-up maple sugar) so you can maple while you maple?

I was in Quechee to go to VINS with friends, but we weren't going to have time to get to my favorite sugar shack/cheddar farm around the corner in Woodstock (Sugarbush Farm). Instead, on the way back south, we stopped at a roadside country store that advertised creemees because I said we had to try it.

Unfortunately, it was like 10-11 AM and they evidently didn't turn on the soft-serv machine to make creemees until like 1 PM each day. So, I still haven't had a creemee yet...but as I was checking out the rest of the store, I found a selection of the wax-wrapped Sugarbush cheddar cheeses in the chiller and Sugarbush maple syrup on the shelves! So, it wasn't a total loss.
