Continuing to let your cat outdoors after it’s 1) been attacked by a coyote, 2) ate the neighbor’s rat poison, 3) spent twelve hours trapped in a lobster pot during a winter storm, and 4) got attacked by a coyote a 2nd time doesn’t sound like loving your pet. After a while, it sounds more like negligence.

By my count, that cat only has three lives left.

I count five lives remaining.

My neighbor just lost their cat to a coyote in Hyde Park (Fairmount Hill). The poor thing didn't stand a chance. Funny: The cat used to always be seen with birds in it's mouth, baby rabbits etc..

Circle of life I guess. Sometimes you eat the bear, and sometimes, well, he eats you.

In the English-speaking world, cats have nine lives, but in Spanish-speaking tradition, they only have seven. Lucky for this cat that his owners speak English, I guess...
