Now we just need the $1 specials that made it worth drinking.

Agreed. Love grabbing a Yuengling whenever I'm in an area that serves it, but it's really nothing so special that it'd be worth paying $5 or so for all the time. Still, options are always good.

I like their black and tans. No, it's not a top notch brew, but it's nice I'll now be able to easily get it here. Always wondered why it wasn't distributed in New England.

Now. if only Tasty Kakes were easily available in these parts.

Yuengling, Tasty Kakes and Herr's chips would be the trifecta. Then I'd have no reason to beg my Maryland cousins for care packages.

But definitely no Herr's. Damn fine chips.

Maybe I'll have to try their chips but the Herr's popcorn is awful.

The pretzels are. . .pretzels. I don't care for packaged popcorn in general so I can't say I've ever tried it. But their chips are great. I like the sour cream and onion, and the ketchup flavored ones best.

Perhaps at a Market Basket? Didn't buy them; trying to be good and skip the snacks aisle.

Herr's chips do show up around Boston, in the oddest places. I actually just picked up a small packet of the ketchup chips in the coffee shop at BWH. They also had sour cream & (chive?).

Hubby finds larger bags of the ketchup chips, which he loves, at the convenience stores at Hess gas stations with fair regularity. We also once found a rack full at the Hong Kong Market/Super 88 in Allston, but that was a long time ago and hasn't been repeated.

...might be all I need from them, but I'm open-minded.

Don't think they'd want to build here. mr. yuengling wouldnt want a union shop. neither would i.

I used to load up on it on my way home from thanksgiving. Nice to have for nostalgia. Kinda tastes like college to me to this day
