Ian spotted this giant tree lumbering through downtown today. On its way to Faneuil Hall Marketplace.

the trees in Nova Scotia are loaded buried (like their people) head first..must be an acadian thing...los arboles Quebecois, on the other hand, usually arrive trunk/feet first..you can look it up ;-)
It's worth knowing the back story
The tree is a present to us, in gratitude for the people of Boston having, nearly 100 years ago, done the right thing for a neighbor in need, in a big way.

from the Faneuil Hall Market Place marketing folks: "The tree is from Long Island, NY I am pretty sure the company is located in upstate NY. " does LI have trees this big?
