By the time his Spidey sense started tingling, it was too late

Spiderman turned on Tremont, only to find he was already surrounded. Craig Caplan couldn't bear to stick around to see what happened.

Unsavory characters
Extremely unsavory characters are always congregating around that 7-11. Even Spiderman is no match for them.
Is he one of the unsavory characters?
Like the ones in Times Square? Molest-Me Elmo and Punch-a-Cop Spiderman?
Those guys get around. I'd be leery unless there was a convention in town.
wacky area
Between that disused subway entrance and the Burger King and 7/11 next to it. Went through there last night. About a dozen people hanging around, someone was eating from a box of pizza.
Disused subway entrance?
I think that's a very active subway exit (probably exit-only because it has only an up escalator?)

1. Spidey kicked the crap out of all involved. It's friggin Spidey.
2. No we will never have costumed morons like Times Square. I personally will not allow it nor will my friends the Colonials. see blog:

3. That area between Winter St and the Orpheum in front of BK, 7-11 and such is a huge problem. It's known by the police but I really don't understand why they let that many people congregate there all day. It's daunting for people to walk through and drug deals are going on all day. It's disgusting.
Install public speakers
Install public speakers playing classical music. It will either deter the criminal element or create real life montages out of A Clockwork Orange.
This area is plagued by drug
This area is plagued by drug dealers, homeless people and drug addicts. The dealers which are mostly gang bangers from Roxbury, Dorchester and Mattapan drive down to Temple Place then walk over to that 7-11 store on Tremont Street as well as the surrounding streets. They will deal drugs in front of the general public.
