Josh Gee gazed into the abyss this morning and the abyss gazed right back into him, in the form of wax figures of Elvis, Amy Winehouse and, um, Nicole Kidman, maybe, in the new wax museum going in where the gym used to be, across City Hall Plaza from City Hall.

Just got back from a weekend in Baltimore
AND THEY'VE GOT A RIPLEY'S RIGHT THERE ON THE WATERFRONT!
Seriously, a short visit with weather more brutal than it probably was here, but a lot of interesting stuff, though it seems like a lot of the goodies are stuffed in the same area.
Yesterday they launched a major revamp of the public transit system, with free fares for two weeks. Unfortunately the light rail line was down for over an hour first thing in the morning, stranding/confusing lots of folk trying to get to Camden Yards for the Orioles game. Not an auspicious start.
