You get what you deserve if you use this site or service. C'mon, let us flatter your ego by not flushing you, and you will be further rewarded with lots of dates with insecure people like yourself who need their egos puffed by dating services not flushing them. You may then proceed with the mistaken belief that all your dates are carefully screened like you "were" by our computers (for free, mind you) and must be a quality match up.

...or maybe the original writer was just being ironic? It would have been funnier if the respondent wrote 'so is youre grammer' to keep the theme going.

it's sort of an ironic ad, since plentyoffish.com is widely understood to be the dating site that casts the net most widely (to be gentle about it). there are millions of users, but the site itself is pretty terrible. famously, they haven't bothered in their two years of existence to fix the software to display pictures in the original aspect ratio; so everyone's photo is squeezed into the same square regardless of the original dimensions. this makes it hard to tell what people look like -- most have bizarrely stretched features.

a site with so little attention to detail is certainly not putting a lot of time or effort into deleting unfit users. it seems like a weird way for them to promote themselves.

My first reaction was, "huh, we delete unfit users up to now?" before I read the much smaller last line and realized it was an ad for a dating site.

I saw that ad yesterday on either the Lechmere Green Line or the #80 bus (I forget which). Tempted to modify it to read "We Deface Ads Unfit to Display".
