A fire at 59 Lonsdale St. displaced four adults this afternoon, the Boston Fire Department reports.

Firefighters responded at 5 p.m. to battle a fire that spread from the second floor to the attic. There were no injuries.

Boston Police report they are searching for Desmond Tahatdil, 55, on charges he fatally stabbed his son, Brendan Tahatdil, 35, on Hartford Street in Dorchester on Tuesday.

Police say the elder Tahatdil may have fled to New York, where he has ties.

Boston Police report a man found stabbed around 7:45 a.m. at 66 Hartford St. died after being transported to a local hospital.

The victim was 35 and had multiple stab wounds, police say.

Mayor Walsh and City Councilor Ayanna Pressley today unveiled a proposal to add 152 new liquor licenses aimed mainly at helping out start-up restaurants in outer neighborhoods.

But their proposal, which would require approval by the state legislature and the governor, would also grant the city the power to give an "umbrella" license to any development of more than 500,000 square feet, such as the South Bay Town Center project now under construction in Dorchester and the Seaport Square development in South Boston.
