So the Boston Business Journal informs us. Can those of us of the wrong gender, who still have to put up with "train station grade" facilities, get a report from those of the lucky gender?

Not because he's Jimmy Kimmel, but because he recently aired a bit in which a laughing 6-year-old said the way to solve our trade imbalance with China would be to bomb the place.

Downtown Boston after the Great Fire of 1872

A fire that started in a downtown basement around 7 p.m. on Nov. 9, 1872, quickly spread and destroyed 776 buildings. Firefighters were hampered by the flu many of the horses that pulled fire wagons had come down with - and by the poor water pressure and bad zoning that Fire Chief John Damrell had earlier warned the city about.

Brian D'Amico went from photographing the Sox parade to photographing the remains of a 200-person post-parade smashmouthing in the area of Milk and India streets. He reports three people had to be taken to the hospital with injuries they should recover from and that police shut the bars in that vicinity, including, of course, Coogan's.

Red Sox Parade Stops At Boston Marathon Finish Line To Honor Bombing Victims (11-2-2013)

Giant Sox heads on the Longfellow Bridge

On the Longfellow Bridge.

What a great day for a parade.

From Fenway Park to the banks of the Charles, Bostonians lined up early for a chance to see the 2013 World Champion Boston Red Sox - and doesn't that sound good to hear?

When the procession of Duck Boats got to the Boston Marathon finish line in Copley Square, it stopped. Jonny Gomes put the World Series trophy and a Boston 617 Strong jersey on the finish line. Then the players and fans listened and joined in a chorus of "God Bless America."

Glenn Cabo shows more of the scene:
