Here's a tip: Don't hold a sign outside a Sox/Yankees games. Cops tend to notice things like that. Especially if the sign reads "I need tickets!" when you're actually selling them ($100 for a ticket with a face value of $47).

I was trying to get tickets for January 10th, however I was told that they only had a random batch of tickets and the only available tickets at the time were for January 3rd, 2010. I didn't want to walk away empty handed (I waited for 3 hours in the arctic tundra), so I have 4 tickets that my family and I can not go to.

Fenway News Online reports movie filming will be going on in and around Fenway Park starting this weekend, and that "they will be doing a lot of stunt and special effects work, including simulated gunfire." Also, "there will be some helicopters related to filming."

Especially when you factor in the costs of having to drive back to Boston from Portland to answer those disorderly-conduct charges you now face for allegedly yelling at and "disparaging" beer-stand workers at Fenway at last night's game.

Martin Lieberman attended both shows at Fenway Park, advises that if you have a choice, always choose a seat on the field for a concert there, rather than one in the grandstand.
