Here's a tip: Don't hold a sign outside a Sox/Yankees games. Cops tend to notice things like that. Especially if the sign reads "I need tickets!" when you're actually selling them ($100 for a ticket with a face value of $47).

$200 for one ticket! Posted at 11:36 a.m. A real generous soul who scooped up four tickets is offering his for just $100 apiece and provides this photo to prove he really has them in hand:

He adds:

This is a sold out event. I was trying to get tickets for January 10th, however I was told that they only had a random batch of tickets and the only available tickets at the time were for January 3rd, 2010. I didn't want to walk away empty handed (I waited for 3 hours in the arctic tundra), so I have 4 tickets that my family and I can not go to.

Boston will distribute tickets for free public skating at Fenway on two days next month at community centers across the city this Saturday between 9 and 11 a.m. (except in Chinatown, where the hours will be 12-2).

Boston residents (and, yes, proof of residency will be required) can get up to four tickets per family for either Jan. 3 or Jan. 10, according to the mayor's office. Roughly 3,000 tickets will be distributed. The rink, now set up to let the Bruins and the Flyers play on New Year's Day, will be open to ticket holders during the afternoon and evening, thanks to sponsorship from SunLife.

OK, it's sort of the winter version of watching paint dry (true story: I once actually did that, and got paid for it), but, in any case, here's a Fenway rink livecam.

Especially when you factor in the costs of having to drive back to Boston from Portland to answer those disorderly-conduct charges you now face for allegedly yelling at and "disparaging" beer-stand workers at Fenway at last night's game.

Boston Police report arresting a Somerville man on charges he took a leak on car from a Fenway Park railing after last night's game:

The fan's actions were observed by the thousands of fans walking out with him as well as others standing on the street below where he urinated on a parked car.

David A. Kennedy, 26, was charged with open and gross lewdness. No word if officers on the scene attempted to locate the owner of the car to let him or her know it now needed a wash.

Empty bladder until proven full to bursting.
