The Boston Licensing Board yesterday ordered the Taco Bell at 1560 VFW Parkway in West Roxbury shut because its corporate owners in Tennessee failed to pay for a 2017 food-serving license. Read more.
Boston firefighters are in Stony Brook Reservation, battling three separate brush fires, near the Washington Street side, roughly across from Heron Street.
UPDATE: Fire went to second alarm around 3:50 p.m. as BFD brought in more firefighters to connect distant hydrants to the crews in the woods. Firefighters were also warned to be careful due to a large bee colony discovered near one engine and to watch for trees that might fall.

The Supreme Judicial Court ruled today that if a Boston Police officer wants to pursue a potential assault-and-battery charge against her district commander, she needs to first file an appeal in the court where a clerk-magistrate found no probable cause for the charge. Read more.

Boston Police report they are looking for Anthony Solimine, 55, who did not show up at work in Wilmington this morning.
Solimine, last seen at home around 1 p.m. yesterday, is described as 5'10" and stocky. He was last seen wearing a dark jacket, black pants and black shoes. Read more.
