Holiday spirit or impatience?

I was on my way to work on the C line today when the trolley stopped unexpectedly (just before Hawes Street, I think). There was a car stuck on the tracks, and a Brookline Police car parked in the street. The T driver said "As you can see, this woman's stuck on the tracks, and the sooner she gets off the sooner we get going again..." Several guys took the hint and got off the train and pushed her car back into the street. I got off the train and took a couple of photos (hey, I was wearing a skirt; it's hard to push cars in a skirt).

A) Maybe the place where the woman in her car got stuck should've been cleared of snow, and road-salted better.

B) Is it possible that the woman should have waited til things got better and then resumed driving again?

Her rear-wheel-drive car stood no chance of making it across there.

Well, it is Infiniti G35....so, it's either real wheel or all wheel drive. Given that it's stuck, I would think you are right and it is real wheel drive.

Stand-up guys -- they got the trolley going and no doubt delighted the woman in the car. Good for them.
