On April 20, Dan Gervais will set out on a walk from the Moakley Courthouse and won't stop until he gets to Los Angeles. He'll eat and wear hemp products along the way. Mike Cann interviews him.

While I agree with him, this is stupid and a waste. There's much better causes to walk across the country for, all of which he could raise cash for.
He should raise money for cancer while he's at it for a double whammy.
actually, it would be a decent double-whammy...
...since the two are related. and i am not talking about the "smoking causes cancer" linkage, but rather the "marijuana can be one of the only things that helps the nausea caused by chemotherapy" type. we keep useful substances from medical patients because we are uptight about it's usage. say what you want about it's recreational uses, but it has some proven medical ones too. and we have done away with the second while protecting people from the first.
