Not a boa constrictor but a ball python. In which case, at 4 1/2 feet this was about as big as they generally get.
Admittedly still not what an innocent ophidiophobe wants dropping out of the ceiling panels unexpectedly, but really not a dangerous animal unless you're a mouse or a small rat.
