Salem witch hearings

The Salem News reports the city licensing board put a local witch on watch for a spell for making alleged online threats against other witches and psychics. The board voted to suspend his witchcraft license for six months - but to belay the punishment if he stays out of double, double toil and trouble for a year.

The Salem Witch trials WERE in Salem... its just that part of Salem is now Danvers. (the trials occured prior to Danver's incorporation in 1767

Some folks use the term thusly, but 'warlock' has its roots in an old English word meaning 'deceiver', so most modern witches eschew the term in favor of the more contemporarily unisex 'witch'.
