Boston Police have released this video of a "person of interest" in the death of Joseph Morante, a worker in a Tremont Street cell-phone store on July 31.

If he looks familar, contact BPD detectives at 617-343-4470 or the anonymous tip line by calling 800-494-TIPS or texting TIP to CRIME (27463).

One of the most tragic killings in recent Boston history - I hope whoever did this brutal slaying will be brought to justice quickly. RIP Joseph Morante.

I am happy for his family that there is movement on BPD in this case. Now if only the "journalists" at the Globe would actually cover it.

Speaking of which, anyone know when the last time was that the Globe covered a Boston shooting or put it on one of the front pages?

Idont understand how the store owner has no type of survailance in the store ????expecially a phone store its verry hard to believe that ...and there are many cameras on that one block that could perfectly get his face ...get cameras from down the street fallow him to identify the killer of a verry good friend nd a family member ...and DID BOSTON POLiCE ever take the owner of the store in for questioning ...since joe morante had sued him years ago for not bieng payed wen he worked at a different store ...ummm not suspicious at all he could have payed some one ....but they can find cameras that are facing the opposite possition that can get the suspects face ...I hope he get cought nd trowned into jail for years nd years ....or he could just witness the same faith my good friend had to go truw shame on the detectives for not putting enouph effort ....they have a animal on the lose that will kill once more and out of the thousand of people that walk truw that street no one seen anything its a shame wat sociaty has come down to ........rest in piece joe we miss you :-\
