Police: After taking a break, armed robber is back robbing stores in Lynn

Lynn suspectLynn Police report a man who tried holding up a series of stores from Lynn to East Boston this past winter has apparently returned from an extended stay elsewhere and is now busy trying to rob stores at gunpoint again.

According to Lynn Police:

The City of Lynn has had one armed robbery and 2 attempted armed robbery in the past two weeks. It appears to be the same suspect in all three. It also appears to be the same suspect that did several armed robberies in Lynn, Chelsea, Everett and East Boston in February and March 2013. It is possible the suspect may have been away for a few months and recently got out.

In the East Boston case, the guy tried to hold up the ExxonMobil station at 470 Meridian St., but was foiled by a determined clerk who scared him off by yelling at him.

Drop a dime to Det. Steve Pohle at 781-595-2000.
