Two men already facing Boston gun charges now also charged with January murder on Whittier Street

Boston Police report arresting men from Stoughton and Dorchester for the murder of Alexander Mervin, 22, of Revere, at 31 Whittier St. early on Jan. 11.

Jerion Moore, 19, of Stoughton and Nicholas Sicellon, 18, of Dorchester both face arraignment on a charge of murder in Roxbury Municipal Court tomorrow.

About two weeks after Mervin was shot to death, on Jan. 27, Boston Police arrested Moore at Ames Street and Ames Way in the Franklin Field development on gun charges. Police say a gang-unit officer had received information that Moore was carrying a gun and that when the officer spotted Moore and walked toward him, the man ran away. Police caught up with him a couple blocks away on Floyd Street - after he'd allegedly ditched his loaded gun, which police also found.

Moore was apparently out on bail when police caught up with him for Mervin's murder - he was arrested by the BPD fugitive unit.

Police did not have to look for Sicellon, because he was already behind bars on his own gun charges. On Jan. 29, police report, officers arrested him after, police say, a foot chase that started when gang-unit officers saw him clutching his waist as if he had a gun there, at Welles Avenue and Joseph Street in Dorchester. Like Moore, police say, Sicellon ran. Police say they recovered one gun he tossed during the pursuit and one they removed from his waistband.

Unlike Moore, he was unable to make bail on the gun charges.

Innocent, etc.
