Take that, Harvard!

Leigh reminds this old Brandeis grad of one of the school's distinctions:

... How many universities can claim to be the alma mater of three of the only eight women to ever make the FBI's Most Wanted List? ...

Unfortunately, unlike with other Brandeis convicts (Abbie Hoffman and Jack Abramoff spring to mind), a Boston police officer wound up dead, murdered during a Brighton bank robbery in which two of the three women participated.

The good news for you Brandeisians is that Angela Davis was acquitted! And, notably, Professor Davis has been a very productive member of society.

I think Abramoff is connected to a murder. He bought a casino cruise company and then soon after the person he bought it from was killed in a gangland-style hit by people working for Abramoff's business partner. People who just happen to be Gambino family associates. Abramoff and his partner has already plead guilty for crimes he committed concerning the casino sale and his partner at least looks very good for a murder rap if one of the hitmen turns on him. I mean, I've never hire mafia thugs and had a personal enemy end up dead. Maybe its just me, but that somehow seems suspicious.

I left him off the murder list because unlike Saxe and Power, he hasn't actually been convicted in connection with one.

Can I learn to express what I really mean in simple English? Apparently not. I've changed my reply above to reflect reality.
