Mattapan man charged with shooting at somebody on his own street; police say he missed

Boston Police report arresting a resident of Hazleton Street in Mattapan on charges he tried to shoot somebody around 2:40 pm. on June 4.

Pena was arrested at his Hazleton Street home Friday afternoon on charges of attempted assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling, illegal possession of a firearm and illegal possession of ammunition, police say, adding he was arrested by a team of drug-unit and regular B-3 officers.
