Two shot, one fatally, in hail of gunfire on Greenock Street in Dorchester

Victim identified as Princess Charles, 29, of Quincy.

Boston Police report a woman was shot to death at 12 Greenock St. off Blue Hill Avenue in Dorchester around 5:25 a.m.

Police say a second victim managed to get to a local hospital despite being shot several times and is expected to survive.

Police were initially alerted to the gunfire by the BPD's SpotSpotter system, which detected 13 rounds fired.
