Boston Police report they are looking for a guy they say showed a gun and then grabbed cash out of the register at a convenience store at 4 Park Plaza, just off Boylston, shortly before 5 a.m. on Monday.

The suspect is described as a white male with a muscular build, full beard, wearing a black long sleeve shirt, dark shorts, white sneakers and a blue Boston Red Sox hat backwards. The hat also appears to have unknown white markings or decals on the right side of the hat.

If he looks familiar, contact detectives at 617-343-4571 or the anonymous tip line by calling 800-494-TIPS or by texting TIP to CRIME (27463).

Looks kinda like Kevin Smith from all those 1990s movies like "Jay and Silent Bob"..

And so does every other beefy white guy with dark hair, a beard, and a baseball cap.

It really is time for the whole baseball cap thing to end. In fact, lets get rid of the entire "baseball cap, bulky T shirt, baggy shorts and big sneakers" year round look once and for all.

It's the wearing them backwards thing that bothers me.

Kevin (was) is much bigger than this guy. (was because Kevin Smith is a skinny dude now)

He also had shoulder length hair, as that was the style back then when Clerks came out.

But the description BPD provides pretty much fits about 40% white males under 35 in the Boston area.

Good luck on finding this dude.

How am I suppose to help solve the crime if I don't have the age of the perp?
