After further investigation, officers recovered a firearm from inside the motor vehicle. The firearm was later determined to be a Glock 30 with ten rounds in the magazine. Officers also recovered two plastic bags of cocaine, fentanyl, and two loose pills of oxycontin.

The passenger was promptly released from the scene.

Jones was charged with illegal possession of a firearm, illegal possession of ammunition, possession of a class A drug, possession of a class B drug and driving without a license, police say.

Seems to be a bit of an overlap between shitty drivers and criminals.

I wonder how many they would catch if the cops did that every time they saw someone run a stop sign?
