Man stabbed in Fenway; arrest made

Boston Police report a man was stabbed repeatedly outside 121 Jersey St. around 10:45 p.m., Friday.

As he was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening wounds, officers swarmed the area looking for the suspect identified by witnesses:

Officers while driving behind the Museum of Fine Arts on observed an individual matching the suspect description but without a shirt and out of breath. The suspect was stopped and questioned but was evasive and lied to officers. While still on scene with the suspect, a witness approached officers and told them that he had chased the suspect after he stabbed the victim after positively identifying the suspect.

Noor Mohamed, 19, was charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon.
