No bail for man accused of Jamaicaway murder

Michael Rosado of Hyde Park was ordered held without bail today in connection with a Sept. 26 stabbing at Jamaica Pond.

Rosado, 30, was arraigned in West Roxbury District Court this morrning, after he'd been flown back from Florida, where Boston police and federal marshals arrested him. He pleaded innocent to a charge of stabbing Robert Kelley, Jr., 32, also of Hyde Park, in a drug deal gone bad.

According to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office, the two got into an argument during a drug deal shortly after midnight. Rosado pulled out a knife and began stabbing Kelley repeatedly, prosecutors allege:

"Mikey, you’re killing me," the victim said, according to witnesses. "You're killing me."

Mortally wounded, Kelley managed to break free from the attack and enter his pick-up truck. Rosado allegedly ran to the rear of that truck and plunged the knife into a rear tire, deflating it. Kelley is believed to have driven only about a block before exiting the truck and collapsing on Perkins Street.
