But you're fired!

Now, get out of my office! You're fired!
...heh. J.J. is one of the best parts of the Spiderman lore.

I just watched a local news clip about the ice on Walden Pond. The ice had receded about 30 feet from the shore, and the remaining ice was covered with water and showed holes here and there. Something is going on here - maybe the women was off her Fruity Pebbles.
I definitely WTF'd at that

I definitely WTF'd at that headline when I saw it earlier. I'm glad she's OK, but jeez.

Walking across Walden Pond as a shortcut?!
I, too, am glad the woman's OK, but how stupid can people get?
So many irresponsible people out there, it's incredible.

Fark has nothing on us

He mentioned Fark's headline of "Woman falls through ice on Walden Pond. She was rescued after a Thoreau search". Sorry, but that's just not as good. The word "through" is already in the headline. It's not like they had to search for her either, so that part is just fictional nonsense added to fit their use of Thoreau..it's overburdened for the joke.
No, our's is much better...and we used it first. ;)
