First-degree murder conviction for Dorchester pizza-parlor shooting

A Suffolk Superior Court jury today found Gary Johnson guilty of gunning down the owner of a Norfolk Street pizza place on Nov. 1, 2007.

Gary Johnson of Roxbury will now be sentenced to life behind bars without possibility of parole.

Prosecutors successfully argued that when Stalex Pizza owner Mumin Manavoglu of Brockton chased Johnson after Johnson held him up in his store, Johnson shot him in the head.

one less scum bag on the street. Unfortunately convictions like this are few and far between. Boston citizens need to take the streets back from scum like the one convicted. The filth is brimming over in this city as of late.
