Five-alarm fire traps woman, destroys apartments on Mission Hill

UPDATE: Fire blamed on lint.
Firefighters braved both fire and ice early this morning when fire erupted on Calumet Street. The Boston Fire Department reports heavy damage to 37, 35, 39 and 41 Calumet, in a fire that was still causing trouble several hours after it was first reported around 12:45 a.m.
Not long after firefighters arrived:
Ladder 4 had a report of a person trapped on floor 2. They kicked in a door and found a woman.
She was taken to the hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation.
Channel 5 reports before firefighters arrived, two guys ran into one of the buildings to alert residents.
Officials estimated damage at $1.2 million.
