The Haitian mayor facing murder charges who now lives quietly in Malden, with a license to drive a school bus

On Friday, WBUR reported on the curious case of Jean Morose Viliena, who once allegedly used a paramilitary group to beat up and kill opponents when he ran a small town in Haiti but who now lives a quiet live in Malden, well clear of the charges that would face him if he ever returned to his homeland.

Today, WBUR reports that one of the three Haitian men who filed a suit in the US against him "died unexpectedly" Friday night.

the system isnt perfect but you know what doesnt help? clamoring on about completely unrelated problems and acting like the two are somehow linked.

seriously just be honest and say you cant stand the thought of dark skinned minorities or perhaps immigrants period coming to america.

He appears to be a lawful permanent resident of the United States. He has a Social Security card and a Massachusetts driver’s license, both issued in 2008. And law enforcement sources tell WBUR that he comes up clean on criminal background checks.

And I didn't even have to scroll down far!!

I think what you want to say is that "we should stop all immigration of people who are not white."
(cue the rebuttal of racism with the listing of all the black people in his life....)

was assuming any sort of functional literacy on the part of FISH. So far as I can tell, "he" is actually a glammed-up Markov chain running on the Heritage Foundation's internal servers, which they primed by recording the reaction to tear-gassing a neonazi revivalist meeting. No one could actually be that consistently loathsome without one day developing the barest hint of self-recognition, at which point the realization that one had been such a churlish shitgibbon would then force oneself to jump into traffic.

Permanent Residents do have to go through a pretty thorough process, so it makes you wonder if this guy told the truth on this application and hundreds of pages of forms that he would have needed to fill out to come here legally.

If he lied on those forms he could be stripped of his status/citizenship and deported to face charges. This has long precedent going back to concentration camp guards.
