Boston Police report Timara Reynolds, 18, hasn't been seen since July 3.

Reynolds, 5'4" and 170 lbs., was last seen around midnight that day at 11 Jerome St., wearing an orange tank top, a matching orange skirt, rainbow flip flops and a black hooded sweatshirt with "Yeah Buddy."

A Suffolk County grand jury this week indicted two brothers on charges they used a detachable steering wheel and a knife in a brawl outside a party at the DoubleTree Hotel on Mt. Vernon Street that ended with one of their opponents dead of stab wounds - from his own knife.

Shawn Coleman, 22, of the South End, was charged with second-degree murder and was allegedly the attacker who ended Christopher Borgella's life early on March 1. His brother, Harold Coleman, 26, of Dorchester, was also indicted for second-degree murder for his role in the brawl, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office and Boston Police.

WBZ reports a man ran into a teen on a scooter at Kingsdale and Standish streets tonight, then fled, then was arrested after he crashed into a car in Jamaica Plain.

The teen's injuries from the crash shortly after 8 p.m. were so severe the homicide unit was summoned.

Boston Police report a man and woman standing at Washington and Erie streets found themselves surrounded by 10 to 15 boys and girls, who began beating them when they resisted a robbery attempt around 9:30 p.m yesterday:

A man walked onto I-93 southbound at South Bay around 1 a.m., and popped into the high-speed lane - where he was promptly struck and killed by a Mercedes, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. The man, 38, from Boston, did not survive.

The driver, a 47-year-old man from Brockton, stayed at the scene, the DA's office says:

A Boston Police officer on leave and without a valid driver's license was released on personal recognizance today on charges he stole a cruiser from the C-11 police station in Dorchester over the holiday weekend, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Dorchester District Court Judge James Coffey let Patrick Donovan walk after Donovan's attorney said he was checking into a substance-abuse program today. Prosecutors had asked for bail of $2,500 and revocation of his bail on a 2013 case in which he was charged with using a stolen license plate and registration sticker on his personal vehicle.

Stanley Staco reports two people were shot around 1:30 a.m. at 52 Lawrence Ave. - one to the stomach.

Police are looking for two teens seen fleeing in a Chevy SUV.

Around 8:25 p.m. on Esmond Street near Blue Hill Avenue, by two men. The victim managed to walk a couple blocks to McLellan Street, which is where police found him.

Shortly after 11:30 p.m. two people were walking down Blue Hill Avenue near Johnston Road and Balsam Street, when a dark-blue Charger hit them. The driver apparently got out, looked at them, then got back in his car and sped down Johnston the wrong way towards Morton. Both victims were taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Blue Hill Avenue was shut at the intersection for the police investigation.

Today's complaint comes not from Centre Street in Jamaica Plain, but Ashmont Street in Dorchester, where a fed-up citizen complains about one of our many longstanding relics of a bygone era:

Remove tilted old trolley pole! In the middle of the sidewalk - no useful purpose served any longer.

For the second time this month, a commercial fireworks display went off over Dorchester Bay last night. Although, both of these were paid for using private funds for a private event, given the fact that we all have to listen to them, shouldn't the display be announced in advance so that people can make arrangements to get to a vantage point to see them?

Shortly after 4 p.m. on Topliff Street near Stonehurst. The homicide unit was summoned due to the severity of his injuries.

The suspect was described as a 5'6" black man in a green shirt and gray pants who jumped into a late-model lime-green Altima with a sunroof.

Tu Nguyen, 31, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder yesterday for the 2012 death of Mary Miller, 72, in her apartment at 45 Codman Hill Ave., the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

The verdict means a mandatory sentence of life, but with possibility of parole. Should he get out, however, he would then have to spend 10 more years in prison for burglary, the DA's office says.

Around 9:45 p.m., police found a man with gunshot wounds to the stomach and leg on Harvard Street near Washington Street. Minutes later, they found a 16-year-old stabbed in the head a couple blocks away on Gaylord Street.

Police are looking for a white Corolla seen driving away from the area.
