Police are investigating gunfire shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Fuller Street off Washington Street.

The Game Stop outlet at 518 Geneva Ave. was held up around 8:15 p.m. by a black male in his late teens or early 20s, dressed in all black and 5'8" or 5'9", who took money from the register.

A Roxbury man who didn't signal before turning right onto Hancock Street from Bird Street in Dorchester last night sparked a chase in car and on foot that ended with him crashing his car and under arrest for possession of both heroin and a gun loaded with hollow-point bullets, police report.

Officers investigating the death of Patrick Marcelin's six-year-old son at 61 Devon St. in Dorchester on Thursday were unable to keep Marcelin from stabbing himself to death when they arrived at the apartment where he'd been staying, Boston Police report.

According to police, the boy was in cardiac arrest when first responders arrived at his home around 9:30 a.m., but that the exact cause of death remains under investigation. Then, police say:

Around 12:30 p.m. at Dorchester Avenue and Adams Street, although that might not be where he was stabbed.

Friends online have identified the man shot to death on Claybourne Street Sunday night as Shongi Fernandes, 24.

Last summer, Fernandes graduated an ABCD program aimed at training Bostonians to become construction workers. Fernandes had a license as an apprentice sheet-metal worker.

Transit Police report that around 5 p.m., somebody walked into the Savin Hill Red Line station, saw two people he wanted to shoot, took out a gun and began firing.

He missed, whereupon both his intended targets and he fled, police say. Police say they are continuing to look for him. About 40 minutes later, however, Cynthia Pesantez watched Boston Police take somebody into custody a few blocks away from the station.

A report that somebody jumped off the Neponset River Bridge around 8:15 p.m. brought Boston firefighters by land and sea until they got an update that the jumper was at the Granite Avenue drawbridge upstream a bit, where they met state troopers, who told them that it was a couple of kids jumping off the bridge - who came out soaking wet on the Dorchester side and then ran away when they spotted a statie looking at them.

Ed Coppinger, who happened to be right in the area, reports that 30 first responders showed up, before realizing it was just a couple of kids, not a potential suicide.

Around 11 p.m. on Woodledge Street. Two black men - one skinny with braids, the other heavyset - ran away.
