I had my laptop stolen recently too...good for the victim for chasing the piece of (expletive) down. Just a shame that he didn't kill him.

Where the police blotter every week is filled with items that basically instruct the reader on why they should never leave their laptops, wallets, phones, etc., alone on a library desk.

It's like the Darwin Awards, but for people's belongings. C'mon, people. You're in a public place. This isn't your living room.

I have no clue why people would leave all of their stuff, and expect it to be there when they got back.

This seems like a great sting opportunity for the police. Would love to see these people wind up in jail.
