Man with scissors causes ruckus on bus in Roslindale

The driver of a 34E bus was forced to pull over on Washington Street near the West Roxbury Parkway around 6:45 p.m. yesterday when a passenger began attacking a seat. An MBTA supervisor's report states:

After a customer reported there was a man sitting in the middle of the bus stabbing a seat with a pair of scissors and putting the scissors up to his neck and his head, the bus pulled over to the side of the road, and police were called. No one was injured.

The bus operator reported the man, holding scissors, got off the bus. The man was described as a Caucasian, mid 20s, wearing black jeans and a black hoodie. The man, last seen in front of the Burger King, was gone when police arrived.

The legal and/or illegal kind. And/or he's one of the mentally ill people who shouldn't be on the streets, for his and other people's safety.

Or is that running with scissors? I get mixed up.

Are the bag searches going to confiscate scissors now?
