That was awesome
Like a daytime version of "The Friends of Eddie Coyle". What was that diner, a Brigham's?
Yes, that was a Brigham's.
Oldfflower logo was a giveaway. I worked at them for a number of years. They went red, white and blue in the late 70's.
Thought I saw Judge Garrity,
Thought I saw Judge Garrity, maybe the old BPD TPF, and the singers lamenting about BU , but then they had a football team, and of course Herb Wakabayashi....
Future Copley Place at 1:40.
Future Copley Place at 1:40. It's amazing what CP did for the area and that stretch of Huntington (and Dartmouth)!
Also a great view of the old Back Bay Station on Dartmouth too.

"I'm in love with modern
"I'm in love with modern moonlight. 128 when it's dark outside..."
The lyric just wouldn't be the same with "95 when it's dark outside..."
Can't believe I'm about to
Can't believe I'm about to admit to a smattering of nostalgia for the old Central Artery...

As a driver, there were a couple of cool things about it
Coming up from the South Station tunnel and seeing the harbor or, in December, the bow around that old building (the grain exchange?).
But then there was the crossover to the Tobin from Storrow Drive (not to mention what it was like underneath the thing) and the moment passes!
John Hancock Tower in '72?
I thought it was new in late '75 or early '76 when some of the windows fell out.
Or am I losing it?
Very neat
Construction was started in 1969 but wasn't finished until the mid 70s.
