Missing man with ties to Waltham sought

State Police report they are looking for a man who walked out of the Solomon Carter Fuller Mental Health Center in the South End.
Matthew Cooperstein, 37, has connections to Waltham and may be headed there.

I don't know, several of the units at SCF are unlocked, it wouldn't be hard for a person in street clothes to just walk out, especially if it was a busy time of day. (there's an outpatient clinic and evaluation center on the first floor, lots of people in and out).
That's a terrible place
It's scandalous how mentally ill people are 'helped' in this country, including 'progressive' MA.
Police?
DMH has their own police force? Can anyone direct me to more information about this?

DMH, Dept. of Public Health, and Dept. of Developmental Services, along with state colleges and universities, and a whole host of other agencies, all have their own police/public safety officers, who are not exactly part of the Mass.
