Local hotel wants to get you in shape for your upcoming prison stay

The Loews Boston in the Back Bay thought it would be a fun idea to put on an exercise class called Prison Style Boot Camp:

Loews Boston Hotel has partnered with trainer Bron Volney of BronCore Fitness to create a 60-minute full body workout complete with effective high intensity intervals like Prison Mate bands and abs and Jail Bird Battle ropes; all exercises fitness enthusiasts can conquer in small space similar to a prison cell.

The hotel, of course, is riffing on the fact it used to be the Boston Police headquarters. But why stop at exercise? Maybe they could team up with a local distillery for classes on how to make pruno in a sock, or with a local metal worker on how to make a shiv out of a toothbrush.

How will the Liberty -- the old Charles St Jail -- respond?

Wonder if the classes are disproportionally minorities.

If you take the class once are you statically more likely to return? Does taking the class prevent you from getting gainful employment once completed?

Getting gainful employment, being a criminal, not the place the state sent you once caught.

I had tried to give them the benefit of the doubt in that they came up with a tough body weight workout since you wouldn't have access to workout equipment in a prison cell but battle ropes? Those things are pretty large, even if you did have access to some in a prison, there is no way they're going to be usable in a tiny cell.
