Sparks rained down on the tracks at Quincy Adams this morning
By adamg on Fri, 02/07/2020 - 5:20pm
Shortly after 11 a.m., Michael Kaplan posted a video showing the tracks at Quincy Adams station being showered in a cavalcade of sparks from high above.
The T responded the work that was causing the sparkfall had been stopped after officials concluded it's not the best idea to have stuff like that happening.

Maybe its a good idea
To shut down Quincy Adams station on weekends so passengers don't get injured.
I'm no welder or even remotely handy,
But isn't it a common safety requirement to hang some sort of fire resistant barrier to catch this sort of thing? Especially in a public place? With potentially flammable items below? (Like trash, oil, and people?)
