A 14-year-old was arraigned in Juvenile Court today on charges he repeatedly stabbed another 14-year-old on Armington Street, in the rear of the the Jakson-Mann School in Allston, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.
The teen, too young to have his name released, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, armed robbery, carrying a dangerous weapon (knife) and resisting arrest, the DA's office says.
A judge ordered him held in lieu of $1,000 bail, the DA's office says. Should he make bail, he was ordered to stay away from both the Jackson-Mann and Boston Green Acadmy in Brighton. He will also be confined to home except for alternative school placement.

There is still time. Don't write kids off like this.
I was going to say this but…

… I considered that U.U. may have meant the child had gotten lost not that they were lost forever.

Just a reminder of that old phrase that gets shortened a bit here on Universal Hub: Innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Bail is not a punishment but an attempt to ensure somebody shows up in court. The fact that that kid was held because he or his family could not immediately make $1,000 bail suggests that's a financial hardship that they might not want to risk.
You keep saying that word

I do not think it means what you think it means.
Word meanings change with usage.
