Heavy fire hits Mattapan three decker

Boston firefighters responded around 2 p.m. to a double three-decker at 706 Walk Hill St., off Blue Hill Avenue, for what quickly turned into a three-alarm fire.

Before it was over, the fire had spread to an adjoining house, a shed and some trees, the Boston Fire Department reports.
