Man gunned down in Dorchester

Boston Police report a 24-year-old man was shot around 7:40 p.m. on Saturday near 37 Ellington St.

He was transported to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Stanley Staco reports he was shot in the back.

The man, not identified by police, was Dorchester's fourth murder victim this year and the second in less than a week.
