Good job
You had the story while the police were still arriving. Good reporting!
Jesus
The area must have been packed with commuters and people heading out on a nice autum Friday night.
If people want to throw away their lives and gang bang over small amounts of money and street cred, fine. Just leave the rest of us out of it please. I'm trying to be productive and pay for your housing.
It was not gang bang, that
It was not gang bang, that person who you are stereotyping happens to be a great guy very humble who saw the good in every one even if he knew it wasn't so. So if you don't have the story correct then don't speak.
uh, yeah.
Not cool.
You can walk through, but when you get to the church/Alexs Chimis, they ask you to go around the church.
Min. 8 or 9 shots, if the guy with the laser pointer was calling out those numbers as shots (taking notes in between).
8 or 9 sounds about right to
8 or 9 sounds about right to me. I live within two blocks and heard the shots. Heavy police presence still, but at least a third of the emergency vehicles that were here have left.
shots
It was exactly 6 shots. I heard them as it happened and counted.
Polive have removed the
Polive have removed the barrier at Sunnyside & Centre as of 8:12 PM.
The street is now open.
However the lot remains closed.
What the what??
6pm seems awfully early for gunplay and this area is so crowded. Hard to imagine that this wasn't captured on security cameras somewhere along Centre--hope they catch these guys.
In the lot
It happened in the parking lot so I'm not certain the street cameras caught anything. Alex's Chimis has cameras and the triple decker that has the parking spot at the end of the drive in to the lot has cameras (people like(ed) to go pee back in there, amongst other things). Hopefully that footage has good info the police can use.
The police were also scouring the end of the lot where people walk between the fence and the tree to the driveway of the old school now condos on Wyman.
