Man sought after midday attempted rape in the South End
Boston Police report they are looking for a man who tried to rape a woman around 12:30 p.m. in the area of East Canton and Albany streets in the South End.
On arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated that a male suspect approached and attempted to sexually assault her. The victim further states that she was able to fend off the suspect. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his early twenties, about 5’6” to 5’8” tall, with a medium build. Suspect was wearing a blue 3/4 length jacket with while lettering on the back, a shirt with the number 24 displayed on the front, blue jeans, black shoes and a baseball cap. The suspect was last seen fleeing the area on foot through a nearby alleyway.
