Mom was driving kid with loaded gun in his pants down Hyde Park Avenue, police say
Boston Police report gang officers spotted a kid wanted on charges of attacking a cop in a car driving down Hyde Park Avenue near Cummins Highway in Roslindale at 11:30 this morning.
Upon stopping the vehicle, the officers removed the teenage suspect at which time they performed a pat frisk leading to the recovery of a loaded 9mm Smith & Wesson handgun with an obliterated serial number from inside the suspect’s pants pocket. The 14-year-old suspect was then placed in custody without incident.
The Roxbury teen, in a car driven by his mother, was charged with being delinquent for unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, carrying a loaded firearm, possession of a large-capacity feeding device and possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number, police say.

Unless you are target shooting or hunting
But this wasn't target shooting or hunting.

Could just be me, but I feel like the way that headline is worded implies that the mother was knowingly driving her son with a gun on him
