Police hunt man they say threatened bus driver with a screwdriver

Transit Police report they are looking for a guy they say threatened to stab a Route 45 bus driver with a screwdriver around 4:20 p.m. on Sept. 21.

The incident happened at Blue Hill Avenue and Pasadena Rd., police say.

If he looks familiar, contact detectives at 617-222-1050 or send an anonymous tip to 873873.

The attack was averted when the quick-thinking bus driver looked at the weapon and told the suspect that his last name was Phillips.
