Two guys wearing dark panty hose on their heads beat man senseless at Andrew station, police say

Transit Police report arresting two men they say used a metal baton to beat a man at Andrew seriously enough around 9 p.m. on Thursday that he had to be hospitalized.

Joseph Timothy Donahue, 36, of South Boston, and Joshua Thomas Walsh, 35, of no particular address, were arraigned in South Boston Municipal Court yesterday on a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury for the attack, around 9 p.m.

Police say there appeared to be a connection between the three men, that the attack was not random.

Police say their victim is expect to survive. They add that both men were "adorned in dark color panty hose covering their faces during the assault."
