Boy with loaded gun arrested on Columbia Road in Dorchester

Boston Police report arresting a 13-year-old they say had "a Hi-Point C9 Luger with seven rounds in the magazine" in his jacket pocket around 6 p.m. yesterday at Columbia Road and Washington Street in Dorchester.

Police say he was arrested by officers responding to a call about a person with a gun, who found him with a group of his pals.

He was charged with being delinquent for illegal possession of a firearm and illegal possession of ammunition, police say.
