why do you have numerous
why do you have numerous articles on finneran on this site but there is radio silence regarding stan mcgee, the gubernatorial aide who has been arrested for sexual assault? Not accusing the site of a vast right wing conspiracy (since I am not a republican to begin with) but the latter story is a lot more troubling than the former and it would do the city a lot of good if outlets other than the sensationalist herald were to report on the mcgee case and try to get to the bottom of it. finneran isn't even in office anymore but mcgee was in charge of the (bad) casino ideas. just my two cents...

Yeah, McGee is in more of a position of power now than Finneran, perhaps (the State Police had to have had a good reason to hire a convicted felon as a lobbyist). And, yes, I should have linked to something about him. The issue I have with some of the stuff I've seen about McGee is that, of course, people who are really, really upset blame his personal failings entirely on Deval Patrick. So I've put it on my back burner, I guess (I feel a lot worse about not having written anything about Bob Ryan's son, to be honest; one of the failings from not doing this as a fulltime job).

yeah, but Garrity was CLEARED. Further evidence that regardless of party affiliation, corrections NEVER get the same amount of ink as the original scandal.
