About a month after his DUI in a Globe car gets "handled", Adrian Walker is OUTRAGED today that an NStar exec in Duxbury uses his position to actually get, you know, electricity.
Give him credit for a) Actually summoning up a good head of outrage for a change and b) Actually writing about something that wasn't in the paper two days earlier (and here I await a comment from Joe Keohane about how Walker just re-wrote some month old story from the Patriot-Ledger or something).
And is him getting outraged about this any worse than, oh, a Herald columnist who makes seven figures getting outraged about the size of some state employee's pension?
Walker's DUI case was "Handled" about as routinely as most first offenses. According to a friend who is a former ADA, most first time DUI cases are Continued without Finding and include some or more of the following: six month license suspension, probation, alcohol-ed courses, community service, etc.
